[edit] Overview
While visiting Mexico, Hank and Dean run into the Monarch, Dr. Venture has a run in with a couple of urban legends and Brock gets to go sickhouse on someone's ass.
[edit] Synopsis
Brock is playing a game of strip poker at a clandestine location in Tijuana, Mexico. Brock shows his winning hand but the Tijuana Lucha Libre Gang leader says he wins with "a royal flush" forcing Brock to take off his underoos. In a burst of rage Brock starts to pummel the gang to a bloody pulp. After everyone has had their asses handed to them, the leader stops Brock and gives him the a gas pump for his '69 Charger. When a luchador begs Brock to take him with, Brock denies him but tosses him his shirt, leaving the luchador smelling the essence of Brock.
Dr. Venture is at the University of Tijuana giving a lecture about the falsehoods of the Chupacabras and Catholicism. An attendee asks when the English lesson will start, and a professor steps in to say that the class is in the next room. 98% of the class leaves, and the professor talks about dia de los muertos or that crazy dead people Christmas Mexicans celebrate as Dr. Venture so tactfully refers to it. Dr. Venture gives Hank and Dean some money while he goes out to seek his colleague, Dr. Ernesto Guevara.
Meanwhile, The Monarch is watching Dr. Venture's every move through his surveillance butterfly. He sends a henchman named Speedy out with a group of no less than 3 and no more than 5 henchmen out to observe Dr. Venture.
At Dr. Guevara's, Dr. Venture is trying to buy medication with an Alexander Hamilton. The Guevara informs Venture that the medications he is requesting have totally opposite applications. Venture then offers a Benjamin, which makes Dr. Guevara reconsider the request.
Outside in the plaza, Speedy and the gang are observing the boys. Speedy takes it upon himself to capture them in order to earn his wings. They dart the boys and Brock walks out of the whore house to see this happen. The henchmen see Brock coming full speed and throw all their darts at him, but to no avail. He grabs Speedy's scrawny little neck in a death grip and when the henchmen see hat he's not going down, they hit him with the Monarchmobile and down he goes along with Speedy.
Back at the cocoon, The Monarch learns that Brock Samson is dead. This gives him a big confidence boost and, along with him having the boys, is now ready to take on Venture.
Meanwhile in downtown Tijuana, in an alley, Dr. Venture wakes up in a bathtub full of ice with a note telling him he has no kidney. Unfortunately this had already happened to Venture in the past so he is now kidney-less. He calls Brock, but since he's dead, the only one that answers Venture is H.E.L.P.eR. H.E.L.P.eR. takes Venture back to the X-1 where he converts H.E.L.P.eR. into a dialysis machine. He figures he'll need a kidney transplant and calls the boys on the communicator watch only to find out he has 26 messages from The Monarch. He goes in search of Brock and to his horror, finds him in a shallow grave.
That night in the cocoon, The Monarch is worried about the boys. Dr. Girlfriend finds out a little bit about The Monarch's past and the loss of his parents, and encourages him to go bond with the boys.
In the cemetery, Venture is crying his eyes out for the loss of his "beautiful guardian angel" when Brock suddenly snaps out of the tranquilizer coma he was in. Dr. Venture is extremely happy to see him, but starts freaking out when he sees the dead body in Brock's hand.
Back on the X-1 Brock and Rusty head for The Monarch's cocoon. They drop down onto it in Brock's Charger and crash into the cocoon while The Monarch is trying to bond with the boys. Dr. Venture gets off the car to rescue the boys and Brock goes sickhouse on the henchmen, running over most of them with the Charger, enjoying sweet revenge.
Back on the X-1 the boy are trying to decide who is going to be the kidney donor. In the ending cut scene the boys wake up, each of them a kidney short.
