Stephen Colbert is a comedian most prominently known for his role as a conservative pundit on appropriately named The Colbert Report.

Colbert provided the voice for Professor Impossible for the first and second seasons of the Venture Bros, with the exception of The Terrible Secret of Turtle Bay.

There was a bit of a controversy when it was announced that Colbert would not be returning to voice the character in the third season. The reason, provided by an assistant, was that Stephen "no longer had the time nor the the interest in [the] project"

Jackson Publick said Professor Impossible will be back and that he himself would be providing the voice.
